This is my submission for the final individual assignment for 2D/3D.
I was in charge of making the rocks for our environment! I made a collection of 22 rocks, all ranging from very large to very small. I made a color and normal map for each and every one of them. We collectively decided on a cartoony style for each asset that goes into the environment, so to acheive that style I filled a base layer with a dark color, made another layer with a lighter color and color the facets of the model with that, then made a final layer with another lighter color and outlined the edges of each facet. Each asset was modeled in Maya, sculpted in ZBrush, and textured in Mudbox and Photoshop.

The following pictures are the color map/normal map pictures along with the final rendering in Maya.
All of these rocks are available in the Starfish Island Project for anyone to use. I learned a lot about making environment assets from this project.
