2D/3D HW12: Proxy Environment Models

Here is my submission for homework 12.

Our class is making a collaborative environment, so I was put in charge of making rocks for it. Here is a picture of a rock formation I made using proxy rock models.

Art Common HW10: Advanced Materials

Here is my submission for homework 10.

I changed the colors of the starfish through a trigger box and through a button press. I also have him rotating so that you can see all of his body. Enjoy!

2D/3D HW 11: The Final Pirate Render

Here is my submission for homework 11.

I made two versions of him, one of which uses the original material that I worked on, and the other has the instanced values of the original material. Can you tell which one is which?

This was a very challenging but rewarding assignment. I learned alot about the texturing process (coloring, setting up lights, gradient maps, etc.) with this and I think it will really help me with our future assignments.

I made a normal map, an AO map, and a gradient map for the pirate fish, Bolrag. Here are some shots of him in Maya and Mudbox.
