In this assignment, I went back to my homework 4 level that I made in Unreal and relit the scene with some spotlights, point lights, and some atmospheric fog. Here is a preview!

2D/3D HW9: Sculpting the Pirate Fish
Here is my submission for homework 9.
This time, I finished the pirate fish sculpt! It took a while for each piece to be completed because I focused on large, medium, and small details on each.
The chest was the hardest part; the zbrush tool I needed to make the chainmail wasn't available so I had to make something myself. I ended up extruding the faces of the squares on the polygroup so that it had extra depth. I even made a nice design on it.
Here are some shots!

2D/3D HW8: UVs and Sculpting
Here is my submission for homework 8.
I'm finished with the UVs for the fish pirate Bolrag! The map is 1024x1024 for now. It may increase if the normal map doesn't look right.
I also sculpted the head! I think it looks decent, the scar really made it look good I think.

Art1 HW7: Game Engine Environments
Here is my submission for homework 7.
I created different materials and instances for the cannon and the starfish. For the cannon, I made one where the emissive color is the exact opposite color of the cannon, and the other cannon material keeps the color of the cannon white while the inside of it can change color.
For the starfish, i made a chrome material and a glassy material. Here are some examples!

Here is my submission for homework 7.
I finished modeling the pirate fishman! It wasn't too bad. I did have to make sure that everything was either a quad or a triangle, Here's Bolrag!

Art 1 HW6: Polypainting the Starfish
Here is my submission for homework 6.
This time around, I polypainted the starfish guy!
This was really fun, I'm getting the hang of ZBrush now and painting the UVs in here is a lot better than painting in Mudbox. I went a little overboard with the CavityMask tool but it gives the starfish a grittier look.

2D/3D HW6: Character 1
Here is my submission for homework 6.
Here we are modeling our first character!
He is a fish pirate-man that I will name Bolrag. He just looks like a Bolrag to me.
Anyway, here is my progress on him.
I took entirely too long modeling that hand; I wanted it to look good but spent 3 hours on it alone :/. Next time, his boots and accessories will be modeled!
